Counsellor
Kyle Giesbrecht holds a Bachelor of Finance and Education from the University of Western Ontario and a Master’s in Counseling from Lehigh University. With extensive experience in international education across Canada, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong, as well as in the business sector, he has developed a profound understanding of diverse environments and unique insights into the interplay of different cultures and curricula.
Kyle specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, including depression, anxiety, anger and stress management, work-life balance, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, family and life transitions, identity and self-exploration, self-esteem issues, and executive functioning skills. He also assists clients in developing coping strategies, enhancing communication skills, setting personal and professional goals, and navigating trauma recovery.
Outside of his professional commitments, Kyle enjoys hiking, sailing, competitive sports, art, and baking. As a proud father and devoted dog owner, he is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in his practice, empowering clients to navigate their personal, professional, or academic journeys with confidence.
