Joanna Day
Counsellor, MA
Ms Day is a licensed counsellor who provides individual and group counselling to children and adolescents. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Social Sciences, and her master’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in Community Counselling. She is a member of the HK Professional Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy Society of Hong Kong.
Ms Day employs strategies that identify and draw upon the strengths of children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. These include depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, friendship and relationship issues, family changes, substance abuse, and identity, self-esteem and body issues. Ms Day focuses on empowering her clients to better understand how they can become healthy, proactive participants in their own lives and foster opportunities for positive growth and change.
