Fern McCluskey

Counsellor, MSc

Fern earned her Master’s degree in Counselling Children and Young People in the UK, alongside completing her diploma training in Hong Kong. This international foundation has equipped her with a deep, nuanced understanding of youth development and family dynamics across different cultural contexts.

Practicing since 2022 across private practice, school environments, and government services, she specialises in supporting children, young people, and parents. Her work focuses on navigating child development, attachment, and parenting challenges. Grounded in a person-centered therapy, she integrates attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology to create a safe, compassionate space where young clients and their families feel heard, understood, and supported.

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys staying active through hiking, travelling, and spending quality time with her family. She believes that parenting is a journey of connection, not perfection. When children feel safe and seen, they naturally discover their capacity to grow.
